Internal Audit Head

About the role

Meftihe Microfinance S.C. is looking for an experienced professional to lead its internal audit function at the head office. The Internal Audit Head will ensure robust audit processes, compliance with regulations, and support the institution’s mission of financial inclusion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the internal audit plan covering all business units.
• Assess risk management, control, and governance processes.
• Prepare audit reports, present findings to senior management, and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and follow‑up on corrective measures.
• Stay updated on local regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Required profile

• BA or College Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
• 2 to 6 years of relevant audit or finance experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
