Lead Developer - Team Lead

About the role

We are a small company building multi‑platform content‑filtering software. We are looking for a Lead Developer to head our AI‑focused development team while staying hands‑on with the code. This role combines technical leadership with day‑to‑day project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development team day to day – plan work, assign tasks and ensure delivery.
• Translate big‑picture projects from the CTO into clear, actionable tasks for the team.
• Stay hands‑on in the code, jumping into any project and tackling the hardest parts yourself.
• Unblock team members and keep momentum moving forward.
• Maintain a high quality bar while helping team members grow.
• Build and work on AI features alongside the team.

Required profile

• Strong full‑stack expertise with the ability to contribute immediately across the stack.
• Proven experience leading a development team that earns respect and trust.
• Comfortable managing people while getting hands‑dirty in code.
• Ability to take big‑picture direction and turn it into clear tasks.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work from and lead the team in our office.
• Ready to grow with a small, evolving company.
