Marketing Specialist (Digital Platforms)

About the role

Adadiko is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join its fast‑evolving team in Addis Ababa. You will help shape and execute marketing campaigns that promote the company’s digital platforms and services, working closely with product, sales and partner teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities in local and emerging markets.
• Assist in developing marketing strategies, positioning, and brand messaging for multiple digital platforms.
• Coordinate promotional activities, support sales initiatives and lead generation efforts.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create targeted content for social media and other channels.
• Monitor campaign performance, gather user and partner feedback, and provide data‑driven insights to improve visibility and engagement.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities to interact with users, partners and internal teams.
• Experience in market research, trend analysis and competitor monitoring.
• Ability to contribute to marketing strategy, campaign planning and brand development.
• Sales orientation with experience supporting lead generation and business development.
• 8+ years of experience in marketing, commerce or technology‑driven environments is an advantage.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
