Mechanical Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, on‑time and quality maintenance of production equipment. The role involves executing preventive, corrective and overhaul tasks while adhering to safety, food‑safety (HACCP) and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all maintenance activities safely, on‑time and in‑full (OTIF) following legal and quality standards.
• Apply LOTO, minor intervention procedures and HACCP requirements during work.
• Execute planned, corrective and overhaul maintenance, including tagging/detagging and change‑over support.
• Conduct equipment inspections, identify performance issues, and prepare critical‑part lists.
• Enter work orders into the maintenance control system and keep standards (HACS) up to date.
• Maintain 5S organization of work areas, toolboxes and documentation.
• Coach operators and junior technicians, lead RCFA/BDA (5‑why) analyses and support TPM initiatives.
• Collaborate with operations before, during and after maintenance to ensure smooth production hand‑overs.

Required profile

• BSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent vocational qualification.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and solid technical knowledge of machinery.
• Hands‑on experience with TPM, LOTO, HACCP and CMMS tools.
• Proven ability to coach teams and drive continuous improvement.
