Media, Digital, and Brand PR Manager

About the role

The Media, Digital, and Brand PR Manager will lead strategic communication planning across all active brands, ensuring the use of the MWB#3 Framework and driving media efficiency. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the role partners with agencies and local OpCos to deliver innovative media solutions in Ethiopia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own annual media briefs and strategic direction for the full brand portfolio, applying the MWB#3 Framework and GRP‑based planning.
• Drive media planning, buying and sponsorship management in collaboration with media agencies, ensuring cost‑effective execution and compliance with brand guidelines.
• Lead quarterly media reviews, monitor media performance metrics (SoV, SoM, channel effectiveness) and incorporate competitive insights into brand plans.
• Manage media budgets, approve invoices and ensure timely payments while maintaining agency performance standards.
• Coordinate with the Creative X platform to guarantee creative excellence on measured digital channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube).

Required profile

• BSc/BA plus MBA or MSc; preferably with a focus on marketing or communications.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in media management, CMI, innovation or brand management within FMCG, preferably the beverage industry.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage large‑scale media programs.
