Medical Sales Representative

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Medical Sales Representative to promote our pharmaceutical and medical products to healthcare professionals across Addis Ababa and the Oromia region (Adama). The role involves building strong relationships, achieving sales targets, and supporting the growth of our territory.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and detail pharmaceutical/medical products to doctors, pharmacists, hospitals and other healthcare providers.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to territory growth.
• Conduct regular visits to doctors, pharmacies, hospitals and medical institutions according to schedule.
• Present accurate product information, including indications, benefits, dosage, safety and competitive advantages.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop existing accounts.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback.
• Organise and participate in medical meetings, conferences, product presentations and promotional activities.
• Maintain accurate records of customer visits, sales activities and market information.
• Prepare regular sales and activity reports for management.
• Handle customer inquiries professionally and escalate technical questions when necessary.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sales and customer relationship management abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑oriented and able to work independently.
