About the role
The Mining Superintendent will oversee load and haul activities on a gold mining site, ensuring that operations run safely, efficiently and in line with company standards. You will manage teams and resources, report on daily performance and guarantee compliance with quality, environmental and safety regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate load and haul teams and equipment.
- Monitor productivity and efficiency of mining operations.
- Prepare and deliver regular activity reports to management.
- Ensure adherence to established quality, environmental and safety standards.
Required profile
- Secondary school leaving certificate or equivalent technical qualification (preferred).
- Professional experience in mining projects, specifically gold mines, with a focus on loading and transport.
- Fluency in English (preferred).
- Initiative, proactivity, strong planning and organisational abilities.
- Leadership, motivation, team‑building and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to relocate.
