Photographer / Videographer (Remote + Travel) – UNICEF Ethiopia

About the role

UNICEF Ethiopia is seeking experienced photographers and videographers to create high‑quality visual content for its multimedia platforms. The role is primarily remote with regular travel to capture events, field visits and programme activities across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Capture professional photos and videos of UNICEF‑supported development and emergency interventions.
• Produce visual assets for advocacy, awareness‑raising and resource mobilisation campaigns.
• Deliver content to UNICEF Headquarters, National Committees, Regional Office and partner organisations.
• Ensure timely turnaround while adhering to UNICEF brand and quality standards.
• Collaborate with programme teams, partners and donors to meet specific coverage requests.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in photography/videography.
• Minimum five years of professional photography/videography experience.
• Fluency in spoken and written Amharic and English.
• Ability to work under pressure and travel frequently.
• Good interpersonal skills; UN or humanitarian experience is a plus.
