Photographer/Videographer Consultant – Remote & Travel (Ethiopia)

About the role

UNICEF Ethiopia is seeking a qualified photographer/videographer to produce high‑quality visual content for its multimedia platforms. The consultant will work remotely while traveling to field sites across Ethiopia to capture events, program activities and emergency interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and edit photos and videos of UNICEF‑supported events, field visits and programme activities.
• Provide visual material to the Ethiopia Country Office, UNICEF Headquarters, Regional Office, National Committees and partners.
• Ensure timely delivery of content that supports advocacy, awareness‑raising and resource‑mobilisation efforts.
• Adhere to UNICEF branding, ethical standards and data‑protection guidelines.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in photography, videography or a related field.
• Minimum five years of professional photography/videography experience.
• Fluency in spoken and written Amharic and English.
• Ethiopian national (nationals only) and ability to work under pressure.
