Project Manager – Automation & Technical Projects

About the role

AndyTec is looking for a highly skilled Project Manager to lead automation, maintenance and technical projects in Addis Ababa. The role involves overseeing projects from inception to delivery, managing resources, budgets and timelines while ensuring high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, define scope, objectives, schedules and allocate resources.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to set project goals, deliverables and timelines.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to ensure timely execution and successful delivery.
• Identify and manage project resources, track utilization and adjust allocations.
• Create and monitor project budgets, control costs, and implement corrective actions.
• Report progress, risks and issues to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
• 5+ years of experience managing automation, engineering or technical projects.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams and managing stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, Asana or Trello.
