Project Manager – ERP Implementation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end implementation of an ERP system. The current initiative focuses on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, but candidates with strong ERP project experience on any major platform are welcome.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the overall project plan, timeline, budget and resource allocation across all implementation phases.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, executive sponsors, functional consultants, technical teams and the implementation partner.
• Define and control project scope, manage change requests and mitigate scope creep.
• Identify, log and resolve project risks and issues, maintaining a risk register.
• Monitor project costs, track budget burn and address resource gaps.
• Coordinate activities across functional workstreams (Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, Production) and technical workstreams (data migration, integrations, custom development, security).
• Manage relationships with the systems integrator or implementation partner, overseeing contracts and deliverables.
• Apply an appropriate project‑management methodology (SAP Activate, PMI/PMBOK, Agile/Scrum or hybrid).
• Oversee test planning (unit, integration, UAT) and lead cut‑over/go‑live activities, including contingency and rollback plans.
• Drive organizational change management, training and communication to ensure end‑user readiness.
• Provide regular status reports, RAID logs and milestone tracking to steering committees and senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex, cross‑functional ERP implementations from initiation to stabilization.
• Strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and coordinate with external vendors.
