Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and detail‑oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Agile team. The role involves both manual and automated testing of web applications and APIs to ensure high‑quality software releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications and APIs using tools such as Playwright, Cypress or Selenium.
• Perform manual functional, regression, integration and system testing.
• Create and execute test cases derived from business requirements and user stories.
• Identify, document and track defects in Jira, and verify bug fixes through regression testing.
• Conduct API testing with Postman or equivalent tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and DevOps to guarantee product quality.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups and other Agile ceremonies.
• Contribute to improving testing processes and expanding automation coverage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering quality software.

Required skills

• Automation tools: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium.
• API testing tools: Postman.
• Programming/scripting: JavaScript, Python, Java, C#.
• SQL and database testing.
• Version control with Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• REST API testing.
• Exposure to cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
