About the role
Safaricom Ethiopia is seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager for the East Addis area. Reporting to the EHOD National Sales, you will be responsible for driving growth and delivering an excellent customer experience across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Manage Safaricom Ethiopia’s business operations in the assigned region or cluster.
- Drive customer acquisition, revenue growth and distribution effectiveness.
- Promote adoption of M‑PESA payment services and increase merchant and agent productivity.
- Ensure product and service availability and support SME/SoHo expansion.
- Lead regional sales execution through supervisors, distributors, merchants, agents, sub‑agents, SSOs and partners.
- Monitor and improve overall customer experience.
Required profile
- Proven experience in sales management within a telecom or digital services environment.
- Strong leadership skills to guide supervisors, distributors and partner networks.
- Ability to analyse market trends and implement growth strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
