Salesperson – On-site (Adama)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Salesperson position is based in Adama. You will directly engage customers to promote Ethio telecom’s voice, data, digital and financial services, clearly explaining product features and benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new sales opportunities and meet established sales targets.
• Process customer orders, handle inquiries and basic service issues.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
• Participate in promotional campaigns and gather customer feedback.
• Coordinate with customer service and technical teams and report on market trends.

Required profile

• Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a track record of meeting targets.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, able to explain technical concepts simply.
• Basic knowledge of telecom and digital services and a willingness to learn product details.
• Organizational and time‑management skills for accurate record‑keeping and lead follow‑up.
• Minimum high school diploma; business‑related education is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale systems.
• Experience using mobile apps, spreadsheets and CRM or customer‑tracking tools.
