Senior Digital Payment Devices Administrator – Hawassa District

About the role

The Senior Digital Payment Devices Administrator will lead the administration, monitoring and operational support of the bank’s digital payment infrastructure in Hawassa District. This includes ATMs, POS terminals and other electronic payment channels, ensuring they remain available, secure and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain ATMs, POS terminals and related payment devices.
• Monitor device performance, conduct incident and problem management, and implement preventive measures.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware support, upgrades and system enhancements.
• Manage network connectivity and communication services required for digital payment devices.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and bank policies.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver uninterrupted digital payment services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in payment device administration or similar IT operations.
• Proven expertise in incident and problem management, hardware/peripheral support and system recovery.
• Strong behavioral competencies such as collaboration, adaptability, continuous improvement and customer centricity.
