Senior IT Auditor

About the role

The Senior IT Auditor will lead the assessment of information technology controls within our banking and micro‑finance operations. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures that systems are secure, reliable, and compliant with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on IT audits of core banking and related systems.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of security controls, change management, and data integrity processes.
• Identify gaps, recommend remediation actions, and follow up on implementation.
• Collaborate with IT and finance teams to align audit findings with business objectives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in system administration within banking or micro‑finance environments.
• At least 3 years of experience in a senior‑level position overseeing IT operations or audits.
