Senior IT Auditor

About the role

The Senior IT Auditor will ensure that the bank’s IT operations—people, processes, and technology—align with strategic objectives, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements. This independent role provides objective verification and contributes to the overall risk management framework.

Key responsibilities

• Act as interim IT Audit Division Manager in the manager’s absence.
• Assist in developing, reviewing, and implementing division policies, procedures, plans, and budgets.
• Provide consulting support to internal audit teams as needed.
• Uphold the bank’s code of conduct and promote its corporate image.
• Deliver services according to established service level agreements and profitability targets.
• Prepare timely, accurate, and complete performance reports for senior management.
• Develop and execute a risk‑based internal audit program covering all material IT areas.
• Conduct special investigations into potential frauds and produce investigation reports.
• Offer professional advice and testimony on fraud matters when requested by courts or police.
• Identify high‑risk IT activities, recommend effective controls, and assess internal control adequacy.
• Handle additional assignments as required.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience, preferably in the banking sector.
• At least two years in an officer‑level position.
