Senior UI/UX Designer

About the role

We are redesigning the user experience of a legacy enterprise AI product to meet modern Agent UX standards. As the sole designer, you will lead the redesign strategy and execution, collaborating directly with developers, a project manager, and business stakeholders. Your mission is to make the AI agent genuinely adoptable and trusted by end users.

Key responsibilities

• Audit the current interface, define a redesign roadmap, and apply modern Agent UX patterns such as planning visibility, human‑in‑the‑loop controls, trust signaling, and multi‑step workflow tracking.
• Design interfaces that clearly show the agent’s actions, explain its reasoning, and provide meaningful control at every step.
• Earn user trust through progressive delegation rather than demanding it upfront.
• Champion enterprise end‑users, especially those skeptical of AI automation, by reducing cognitive load while keeping users informed and in control.
• Own and maintain the design system and component library, documenting patterns for independent developer implementation.
• Collaborate with developers, PM, and business stakeholders to link design decisions to adoption, retention, and efficiency outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven UI/UX experience with a strong enterprise or B2B portfolio.
• Experience leading a product redesign from audit through to shipped improvements.
• Deep familiarity with Agent UX and AI‑native interaction design patterns.
• Comfortable operating as a solo designer in a developer‑led team.
• Strong communicator able to align engineers, PMs, and business stakeholders around a shared design vision.
• Portfolio demonstrating how design decisions improved real user outcomes.
