Site Fleet Controller

About the role

The Site Fleet Controller is responsible for overseeing all heavy‑duty and medium‑weight vehicles at the Kilinto site, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant fleet operations. This role coordinates maintenance, fuel and tire management, driver supervision and reporting to support the transportation planning function.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure fleet activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, inspections and permits.
• Supervise and train drivers, monitor driving violations and maintain a violations dashboard.
• Validate driver licences, manage vehicle handovers and coordinate maintenance schedules with the Fleet Manager.
• Inspect vehicle tires weekly, track tire retreading efficiency and report findings.
• Oversee GPS tracking/telematics, daily order planning support and driver journey tracking.
• Manage fuel planning, reconcile consumption per trip and report deviations.
• Collect invoices from service providers, reconcile payments and ensure timely repairs.
• Analyse fleet performance data, generate regular reports and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing heavy‑duty and medium‑weight vehicle fleets.
• Ability to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Experience supervising drivers and conducting training.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance scheduling and tire management.
• Familiarity with GPS tracking, telematics and fuel management processes.
• Strong analytical skills for reporting and performance analysis.
