Snowflake Admin / DevOps Engineer

About the role

The Snowflake Admin / DevOps Engineer will design, administer, and optimise the Snowflake Data Cloud platform to enable AI‑driven data solutions. You will work closely with data scientists, ML engineers and DevOps teams to build secure, scalable pipelines and integrate large language model capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and manage the Snowflake Data Cloud environment.
• Implement Snowflake AI features to support LLM development and data processing.
• Architect and optimise data pipelines for ingestion, transformation and integration of external sources.
• Administer warehouses, roles, permissions, security policies and perform performance tuning.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake deployments and data workflows.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and manage environments across AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Monitor Snowflake workloads, pipelines and cloud resources, implementing logging, alerting and operational dashboards.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security and compliance across all solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable AI‑enabled data platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Snowflake Administrator or Architect.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake features (warehouses, roles, resource monitors, data sharing, Snowpipe).
• Experience with Snowflake AI, AI/ML integrations or similar machine‑learning pipelines.
• Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.
• Hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration frameworks.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and applying DevOps best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Understanding of infrastructure monitoring, logging and performance optimisation.
• Knowledge of data governance, security and compliance standards.
