Social Media Community Manager

About the role

The Social Media Community Manager will lead PTGR AG’s online presence across major social platforms, focusing on crypto, fintech and diaspora audiences. You will drive engagement, build trust and support user growth while ensuring all communications align with the brand and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage PTGR AG’s social channels including X, Telegram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram and Web3 community platforms.
• Respond promptly and professionally to comments, messages and discussions.
• Build, moderate and grow Telegram and Discord communities to maintain active, informed participation.
• Design and execute community growth strategies targeting crypto users and diaspora markets.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to synchronize messaging, campaigns and product announcements.
• Monitor brand mentions, sentiment and community analytics; report on engagement metrics and growth rates.
• Identify and engage influencers, ambassadors and strategic partners.
• Organise online events such as AMAs, live sessions and community campaigns.
• Escalate technical, compliance or sensitive issues to the appropriate internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience managing social media communities, preferably in fintech, crypto or technology.
• Strong understanding of Web3 ecosystems and crypto culture.
• Proven experience with Telegram or Discord community management.
• Excellent written English communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret social media metrics.
• Capability to handle high‑volume interactions and crisis situations professionally.
• Experience engaging diaspora communities is a plus.
