Social Media Manager

About the role

Akoya Properties is seeking a full‑time Social Media Manager to lead its online presence from our Addis Ababa office. You will create and publish engaging content that builds brand awareness and drives interaction with our real‑estate audience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain content calendars for all social platforms.
• Write, edit, and optimise posts for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and other channels.
• Monitor performance metrics, generate reports and recommend improvements.
• Respond promptly to comments and direct messages, ensuring a consistent brand voice.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align social campaigns with overall objectives.
• Stay up‑to‑date with social media trends, competitor activity and best practices.

Required profile

• Strong communication and writing abilities with a focus on clear, brand‑aligned content.
• Detail‑oriented organisational skills and the capacity to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
• Interest or experience in real‑estate, property development, or related sectors is preferred.
• A relevant diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies or a related field is advantageous.
