Social Worker – Gambella Region

About the role

Inkomoko Ethiopia is looking for a dedicated Social Worker to support entrepreneurs living in the refugee camps of the Gambella region. The role focuses on helping clients develop business skills, improve profitability, and access Inkomoko’s training and finance services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct intake of program entrepreneurs and perform monthly site visits to assess business needs.
• Generate cash‑flow statements and profitability analyses for client businesses.
• Provide strategic, realistic advice to improve sustainability and profitability.
• Deliver on‑site business consulting and training, maintaining strong client relationships.
• Connect clients to additional Inkomoko services such as training programmes and financing.
• Maintain accurate client business information in the internal system.

Required profile

• Experienced Social Worker with strong organisational and motivational skills.
• Ability to work directly with entrepreneurs in refugee camp settings.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Report directly to the Senior Business Development Advisor.
