Software Engineer – Fintech Integration

About the role

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our MPESA Technology department. The role centers on fintech integration, both internal and external, and will drive the creation of efficient, user‑friendly APIs and middleware that power our financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain back‑end services that enable seamless fintech integration.
• Build and document robust APIs and middleware components for internal and partner systems.
• Collaborate with product, security, and operations teams to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Identify and resolve integration challenges, optimizing data flow and system interoperability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
