Strategic Planning and Analysis Analyst (JPO)

About the role

The Strategic Planning and Analysis Analyst (JPO) will support UNDP’s DDR programme in Ethiopia by providing political and conflict analysis, strategic communication and high‑level stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor national and sub‑national political and conflict dynamics and deliver regular analytical updates to the DDR team.
• Integrate conflict‑sensitive and strategic communication into DDR implementation, ensuring coherent messaging across diverse regions.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in political risk analysis, conflict sensitivity, planning or strategic communication.
• Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently under pressure.
