Supply Chain Director

About the role

The Supply Chain Director leads end‑to‑end strategic and operational functions for TOPPAN Security in Addis Ababa, overseeing procurement, logistics, customs, inventory and ERP discipline. The role ensures goods and services are sourced and delivered on time, within budget and to required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives, demand forecasts and financial targets.
• Lead the supply chain and logistics teams, set KPIs, conduct performance reviews and build a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Oversee procurement activities from supplier identification through negotiation, contracting and performance management, including high‑value strategic negotiations.
• Manage supplier relationships, quality standards, contract visibility and compliance, handling non‑conformances and corrective actions.
• Direct expediting, order management and delivery assurance, tracking purchase orders from issuance to final delivery.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation, freight forwarding, 3PL management and logistics contingency planning.
• Own customs clearance and trade compliance, ensuring accurate documentation and timely import/export processes.
