System & Database Administration Division Manager

About the role

The Division Manager for System & Database Administration will lead the technology team responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company's IT infrastructure and database environments. This senior position reports to senior management and plays a critical role in ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient operations that support the insurance business.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control all activities related to system and database operations.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of servers, networks, and database platforms.
• Ensure compliance with insurance industry regulations and internal security policies.
• Coordinate with other departments to align IT services with business needs.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of IT professionals.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 8 years (BSc) or 6 years (MSc) of relevant experience, including at least 4 years (BSc) or 3 years (MSc) in a senior or principal role.
• Preferably holds an insurance profession diploma and CII certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• High dedication, hard‑working attitude, and ability to work well in a team.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of computer applications and basic insurance business processes.
