Technical Support & Deployment Engineer

About the role

Guba Technology is seeking a Technical Support & Deployment Engineer to join its customer‑facing team. In this full‑time position you will install, configure, and deploy the company’s digital solutions across on‑premise, cloud, and hybrid environments while providing hands‑on troubleshooting and post‑deployment support.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade and troubleshoot software solutions for customers.
• Validate and prepare customer environments before deployment.
• Deploy applications on‑premise, in the cloud, or in hybrid setups.
• Diagnose issues related to applications, servers, networks and connectivity.
• Configure network components such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, NAT and routing.
• Support system migrations, upgrades, integrations and new environment roll‑outs.
• Monitor services, logs, performance and availability; perform technical testing and validation.
• Provide on‑site and remote technical assistance, conduct customer training and system demonstrations.
• Document installation, configuration, troubleshooting and deployment procedures.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, networking, QA and project teams to resolve complex issues.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on technical background with experience in software deployment and infrastructure preparation.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt solutions to diverse customer environments.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a customer‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Software installation, configuration, deployment and troubleshooting.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, NAT, routing, firewall and access‑control configuration.
• Linux server administration (Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS or similar).
• Server provisioning, virtual machine provisioning and data‑center infrastructure management.
• Experience with on‑premise, cloud and hybrid environment deployments.
• Basic knowledge of application servers, databases and web services.
• System monitoring, log analysis and service management.
• Basic scripting/automation; familiarity with Git, APIs, databases or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
