Training and Development Manager

About the role

The Training and Development Manager will lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of learning solutions for Water for Good’s global workforce. This strategic role blends the creation of training programs with the promotion of a culture of continuous employee development.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and deliver comprehensive training programs that align with organizational goals and identified learning needs.
• Facilitate training sessions using classroom, virtual and workshop formats, ensuring they are engaging and meet learning objectives.
• Communicate with stakeholders to promote initiatives, gather feedback and provide progress updates.
• Evaluate training effectiveness, track attendance and completion rates, and continuously improve materials.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of HR trends, best practices and emerging learning technologies.
• Cultivate a continuous‑learning culture by identifying growth opportunities for individuals and teams.
• Partner with supervisors and HR to assess strengths, career aspirations and support performance evaluations.
• Promote Water for Good’s development resources and tools, encouraging employee ownership of their learning journey.

Required profile

• Passion for Water for Good’s mission of providing sustainable safe water, sanitation and hygiene.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, Education or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in adult learning, training design and content development.
