Video Editing Intern

About the role

Hager Beqel is seeking a part‑time, remote Video Editing Intern to support the creation of digital video content that reflects its cultural and social mission. This role offers a hands‑on learning experience in video production, editing, and basic motion graphics while contributing to the organization’s online presence.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and edit raw video footage into coherent narratives.
• Apply basic color grading to ensure visual consistency.
• Integrate simple motion graphics, titles, and overlays.
• Prepare final videos for social media and other digital platforms.
• Organize and label raw files, maintaining an orderly asset library.
• Collaborate with the creative team to interpret briefs and meet delivery timelines.

Required profile

• Interest in Ethiopian culture, arts, and social impact.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow creative direction remotely.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and develop new technical skills.

Required skills

• Video editing proficiency.
• Color grading basics.
• Motion graphics creation.
• Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
