Account Manager – Client Services (Addis Ababa)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to own the relationship between our creative teams and clients in Addis Ababa. You will act as the primary point of contact, anticipating client needs and ensuring projects stay on track and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main liaison for key accounts, monitoring inboxes, calls, and project health.
• Translate vague client goals into clear, actionable briefs for design, production, and digital teams.
• Push back internally on unrealistic timelines and manage scope to protect margins.
• Draft proposals, track budgets, manage invoicing milestones, and monitor scope creep.
• Perform final quality checks on all deliverables against brand guidelines and client expectations.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of account or project management experience in an agency, media, or digital marketing environment.
• Hands‑on experience leading client negotiations on scope, budget, or timeline.
• Professional written and spoken communication in English and Amharic.
• Proven ability to run projects end‑to‑end and keep budgets under control.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project‑management tools such as Asana, Trello or Notion.
• Strong spreadsheet skills for budget tracking.
• Working knowledge of digital‑marketing funnels and media‑production timelines.
