Biomedical Sales Engineer

About the role

DON Biomedical Solution supplies diagnostic and therapeutic imaging equipment and services to healthcare facilities. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Biomedical Sales Engineer in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, who promotes and sells diagnostic and therapeutic systems, works with healthcare professionals to understand their technical and clinical needs, and recommends suitable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations.
• Prepare proposals and quotations and follow up on leads to support the full sales cycle.
• Provide basic technical support and coordinate with service teams.
• Assist with installations and trainings.
• Maintain customer relationships through regular visits and responsive communication.
• Collaborate with internal teams to monitor market trends, gather customer feedback and support continuous improvement of products and services.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
• Experience in medical imaging or biomedical equipment sales or support is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site, travel to customer locations and manage several accounts and priorities.
• Fluency in English and local languages, able to write professional proposals and reports.

Required skills

• Sales engineering and sales skills, including solution selling, opportunity management and negotiation.
• Technical support: understanding imaging equipment, troubleshooting basic issues and coordinating with service engineers.
• Communication and customer service, with clear presentation skills.
• Proficiency in standard office software and basic CRM tools, with strong documentation skills.
