Sales and Marketing Specialist

About the role

ZIONS, a premium café and pastry brand based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, is hiring a full-time, on-site Sales and Marketing Specialist. The role promotes ZIONS products and services, drives sales across café branches and supports marketing activities that strengthen brand visibility and customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and present product offerings
• Manage in-store promotions and support corporate and event orders
• Collaborate with branch teams to implement marketing campaigns and track sales performance
• Prepare basic reports and give feedback on customer trends
• Support training of frontline staff on sales techniques, customer service standards and product knowledge

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Sales and sales management skills to drive revenue and manage targets
• Training skills to coach team members
• Experience in retail, hospitality, food and beverage or café environments is beneficial
• Fluency in local languages and good command of English are preferred

• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and common office software is an advantage
