Branch Business Relationship Manager – Retail & MSME

About the role

The Branch Business Relationship Manager – RMSME will lead business development within the Chancho branch, focusing on retail and MSME customers. The role involves attracting, deepening, and managing financial relationships to achieve deposit and loan growth, while promoting the bank’s product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, lead, and control business development activities for the branch in the assigned region.
• Attract new retail and MSME customers and deepen existing relationships to meet deposit and loan growth targets.
• Promote and sell the bank’s range of products and services to enhance value‑add relationships.
• Ensure compliance with credit, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide strategic guidance on sales and marketing practices to improve performance.
• Lead and coach branch team members to achieve measurable results.
• Manage partnerships and stakeholder collaborations to support business objectives.
• Oversee project initiatives related to business growth and digital adoption.

Required profile

• BA degree in Accounting, Marketing Management, Business Administration, Banking, Finance or related field.
• Minimum six (6) years of relevant experience in retail and MSME banking.
• Proven track record in business development, sales, and relationship management.
• Strong understanding of credit, risk, and compliance frameworks.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and networking capabilities.
