Branch Business Relationship Manager – RMSME

About the role

The Branch Business Relationship Manager – RMSME will lead business development activities for the bank’s Retail and MSME segment within the West Addis Ababa district. You will be responsible for building and deepening financial relationships, driving deposit and loan growth, and promoting the bank’s full suite of products to existing and new customers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise, lead and control business development initiatives for the assigned branch network.
• Attract, deepen and manage financial relationships to achieve deposit and loan growth targets.
• Drive business growth for the Retail & MSME market segment and cross‑sell additional bank products and services.
• Leverage networking and negotiation skills to acquire and retain high‑value customers.
• Ensure compliance with credit, risk and regulatory standards while supporting senior leadership on strategic priorities.

Required profile

• BA degree in Accounting, Marketing Management, Business Administration, Banking, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum six (6) years of relevant experience in Retail & MSME banking.
• Proven track record in modern sales and marketing practices within financial services.
• Strong negotiation, networking and project management capabilities.
• Deep understanding of credit, risk management and compliance requirements.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and drive performance improvements.
