Branch Business Relationship Officer – West Addis

About the role

The Branch Business Relationship Officer will drive business growth for Retail, MSME and International Financial Business (IFB) banking at the West Addis district branches. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality relationship management to both new and existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and generating cross‑sell opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve business targets for Retail, MSME and IFB banking through proactive relationship management.
• Maintain and improve customer satisfaction to retain existing clients and attract new ones.
• Identify and act on cross‑selling opportunities across banking products and services.
• Promote banking products, pricing and digital solutions to agents and customers.
• Utilise core banking and digital platforms to streamline operations and enhance the customer experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance/Accounting, Management or a related field.
• Minimum four (4) years of successful experience in banking or a customer‑contact role.
• Training or courses in banking operations (IFB, domestic, credit, international).
• Strong collaboration, teamwork, communication, adaptability and customer‑centric mindset.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of banking products, pricing and Islamic banking principles.
• Marketing and sales capability for financial products.
• Proficiency with core banking systems and digital banking platforms (e‑banking, USSD, mobile apps).
• Ability to deliver services across multiple channels such as branches, ATMs, POS, agents and online platforms.
