Branch Manager – Ethiopia (Pricing, Operations & Billing)

About the role

We are an international freight forwarding and logistics company expanding across East Africa. We are looking for an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Addis Ababa office, overseeing pricing, operations and billing functions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare competitive quotations for air freight, sea freight, customs clearance and transport services.
• Maintain relationships with airlines, shipping lines, transporters and overseas agents; negotiate rates.
• Manage day‑to‑day import, export and transit operations, ensuring timely shipment execution.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, transporters, customers and overseas offices to resolve operational issues.
• Prepare customer invoices and supplier cost sheets, verify shipment profitability and follow up on receivables.
• Lead branch staff, produce weekly and monthly operational and financial reports, and achieve branch KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding and logistics, with strong knowledge of Ethiopian import, export and transit procedures.
• Proven experience in pricing, operations and billing within air and ocean freight.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Amharic.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team.
