Brewing In-Service Trainee (3 positions)

About the role

Join a dynamic brewing team where you will gain hands‑on experience operating brew‑house, cellar, filtration and bright‑beer tanks. This in‑service trainee position is designed for third‑year students pursuing a diploma in chemical, food science or mechanical engineering, offering real‑world exposure to brewing processes and quality control.

Key responsibilities

• Operate brewing equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Monitor process performance, record deviations and analyse waste trends.
• Perform cleaning, lubrication and inspection of plant equipment on schedule.
• Identify defective plant components and report them for resolution.
• Execute quality checks and record results in the designated information system.
• Participate actively in shift meetings, log issues and suggest improvements.
• Communicate effectively with team members and ensure proper hand‑over to the next shift.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a National Diploma program in Chemical, Food Science or Mechanical Engineering (3rd year).
• Basic understanding of brewing and chemical processes involved in beer production.
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety procedures.
• Proficiency with PC applications for data entry and reporting.
