Brewing Instrument Technician

About the role

The key purpose of this role is to perform optimisation and modification of process control systems within a brewing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interact daily with production teams to resolve quality‑related equipment problems.
• Support implementation of plant and process improvement projects.
• Perform specialised maintenance on quality equipment, including calibration, set‑up, and complex component replacement.
• Manage standby duties and be available for call‑outs when required.
• Maintain critical spares inventory and recommend maintenance regimes.
• Verify and validate equipment operation using SAP and other reporting tools.
• Develop and maintain equipment performance reports, SOPs and SWIs.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise, coach operational teams, and support training material development.

Required profile

• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Team player with good administration and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong technical knowledge of instrumentation and control.
• Good self‑management practices.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
