Brewing Machine Specialist

About the role

The Brewing Machine Specialist ensures that brewing equipment operates as if it were brand‑new, delivering reliable performance through regular inspections, corrective actions, and root‑cause problem solving. You will work closely with shift teams, artisans, and suppliers to minimise downtime and support continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist operational support to shift‑based teams, acting as a functional expert in problem solving.
• Participate in maintenance planning meetings, execute work during planned maintenance windows, and contribute to post‑mortem reviews.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and inspections according to the maintenance schedule, and resolve any issues uncovered.
• Carry out running repairs on plant equipment, assess problems, determine corrective actions, and complete related SAP documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers to follow up on orders, repairs, and spare‑part coordination.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
• Ability to coach operators, apprentices, and artisans on correct equipment operation.
• Experience in industrial equipment maintenance and problem‑solving methodologies.
