Business Development Assistant – Ethiopia

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Assistant to support our expansion in Ethiopia. The role is fully remote and focuses on identifying market opportunities, building local partnerships, and driving growth strategies for our services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the Ethiopian market.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, stakeholders, and partners.
• Assist in creating and implementing business development strategies tailored to Ethiopia.
• Support proposal writing, grant applications, and fundraising initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Monitor and report on the performance of business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or a related field.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Amharic; additional local languages are a plus.
• Own a PC/Laptop with fast‑speed internet access.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently.
