Business Mentor & Consultant

About the role

The FAST program, implemented by Inkomoko, seeks experienced entrepreneurs to mentor early‑stage African founders. This is a six‑month, part‑time, fully remote position requiring a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct one‑on‑one virtual discovery meetings to assess each venture’s health and bottlenecks.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations to determine the startup’s stage (Idea or Build) and identify critical development needs.
• Prepare an initial Assessment Report highlighting strategic focus areas for maximum impact.
• Provide tailored advisory support across business regulations, modeling, strategic planning, financial management, sales & marketing, product development, and investment readiness.
• Guide founders in effectively utilizing their FAST grant funding.

Required profile

• Established entrepreneur with real‑world business experience.
• Highly motivated, purpose‑driven, and passionate about supporting youth‑led enterprises.
• Ability to commit at least 10 hours per week for six months.
• Strong communication skills for virtual mentorship.
