Business Strategist

About the role

Berry Advertising, an agency that looks for emerging innovations and cultural shifts to help brands build the future, is seeking a Business Strategist. The role develops data-driven business and brand strategies, uncovers market opportunities and supports sustainable growth, working closely with clients and internal teams such as Creative, Media and Account Management.

Key responsibilities

• Strategy and research: interpret client briefs, carry out primary and secondary market research, analyse sales performance, brand equity and consumer behaviour, run SWOT analyses, and develop monthly, quarterly and annual brand and business strategies.
• Support creative concepts, media plans, campaigns and new business pitches, and monitor and report on recommendations.
• Identify new business opportunities, advise senior decision-makers, and build relationships with clients, partners and vendors.
• Explore emerging trends, recommend new services, and develop strategic partnerships.
• Contribute to internal collaboration, employee engagement and talent development, and prepare strategic reports and business analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Economics or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in business strategy, brand strategy, market research, business development or a related role.
• Experience in an advertising agency, marketing, communications or related industry is highly desirable.
