Cash Consortium Lead

About the role

The Cash Consortium Lead will provide strategic, operational and coordination leadership for the Ethiopia Cash Consortium (ECC), a multi‑partner humanitarian cash assistance programme funded by ECHO. Reporting to the Senior Programme Lead – ECHO Portfolio, the role ensures high‑quality, cost‑efficient delivery of consortium objectives across partner organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Consortium Management team to harmonise cash assistance approaches, financial service providers and delivery modalities.
• Oversee implementation, monitoring and reporting against donor expectations and consortium governance.
• Represent the consortium in humanitarian coordination mechanisms and liaise with ECWG and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate learning, information sharing and best‑practice documentation across partners.
• Ensure compliance with Save the Children policies on fraud, bribery, corruption and child safeguarding.

Required profile

• Executive‑level experience in humanitarian cash programmes or large‑scale social protection initiatives.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple international NGOs and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• Strong understanding of donor requirements, especially ECHO, and humanitarian coordination structures.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with a focus on accountability and results.
