Cash Consortium Lead

About the role

The Cash Consortium Lead will provide strategic, operational and coordination leadership for the Ethiopia Cash Consortium (ECC), a multi‑partner humanitarian cash assistance programme. Reporting to the Senior Programme Lead – ECHO Portfolio, the role ensures high‑quality, cost‑efficient delivery of multi‑purpose cash assistance across hotspot locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Consortium Management team to harmonise implementation, reporting and monitoring across all consortium partners.
• Ensure compliance with Save the Children policies, donor requirements and humanitarian coordination mechanisms.
• Facilitate collaboration among consortium members, standardise cash delivery modalities and financial service providers.
• Oversee risk management, fraud prevention and conflict‑of‑interest declarations.
• Represent the consortium in external forums, provide timely information sharing and promote learning.

Required profile

• Executive‑level experience in humanitarian cash assistance or large‑scale programme management.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple NGOs and donors in complex environments.
• Strong understanding of donor compliance, risk mitigation and ethical standards.
• Willingness to undergo child safeguarding and police checks as required.
