Commercial Manager – Executive Transport

About the role

The Commercial Manager will lead revenue growth, strategic partnerships and client acquisition for SHABEEL’s premium mobility services. Reporting to the CEO, the role ensures profitable expansion of diplomatic, VIP and corporate transport solutions across Ethiopia and the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an annual commercial strategy aligned with the transport business plan.
• Drive revenue generation through corporate, diplomatic, government, NGO and private‑sector contracts.
• Identify new market opportunities for luxury and protocol mobility services.
• Lead pricing strategy, profitability analysis and revenue optimisation.
• Build strategic partnerships with diplomatic missions, African Union institutions, international organisations, hotels, government agencies and security service providers.
• Prepare proposals, presentations and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Manage key accounts and VIP clients, ensuring high satisfaction and handling escalated issues.
• Optimise fleet utilisation, coordinate commercial deployment with operations and support fleet expansion planning.
• Support premium brand positioning, oversee commercial campaigns and maintain consistent service standards.
• Ensure governance, compliance and alignment with corporate policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial strategy and revenue growth within premium transport or related sectors.
• Track record of securing corporate, diplomatic or government contracts.
• Strong ability to manage key accounts and VIP client relationships.
• Experience coordinating fleet utilisation and supporting fleet expansion.
• Excellent negotiation and partnership development skills.
