Condition Monitoring Specialist

About the role

The Condition Monitoring Specialist is responsible for ensuring optimal asset performance by applying condition‑based techniques, managing risk, and driving continuous improvement of maintenance strategies. You will work closely with plant teams to prevent functional failures and reduce lifecycle costs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the plant footprint to apply appropriate condition monitoring methods.
• Execute RCM practices such as vibration spectrum analysis, oil analysis, thermography, and ultrasonic analysis.
• Monitor assets to detect early signs of deterioration and quantify the rate of change.
• Integrate condition monitoring data into SIC systems and support a just‑in‑time maintenance approach.
• Continuously review and optimise predictive maintenance plans for cost‑effective output.
• Analyse performance trends, identify breakdown patterns, and implement corrective actions.
• Facilitate problem‑solving using standard tools and loss‑waste analysis.
• Maintain total cost of ownership (TCO) by prioritising plans that extend equipment life.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in asset performance monitoring.
• Ability to interpret technical data and translate findings into actionable maintenance plans.
• Proactive attitude toward risk identification and mitigation.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
