Distributor Development Manager

About the role

The Distributor Development Manager will support the implementation of HBSC's RTC roadmap and change‑management programs. Reporting to senior leadership, you will work closely with field sales and business unit managers to enhance distributor capabilities and ensure on‑time, in‑full (OTIF) delivery of the end‑state vision.

Key responsibilities

• Review, enhance and monitor existing Distributor Capability Development Frameworks.
• Plan and track progress against strategic road‑maps, providing direction and challenging assumptions.
• Deploy growth programs, follow up on action plans and periodically update distributor development assessments.
• Coordinate rollout of capability programs across the OPCO, aligning with HBSC’s RTC&M vision.
• Evaluate distributors against capability frameworks, identify skill and will gaps, and drive rapid closure.
• Co‑create Joint Business Plans with field sales teams based on identified gaps.
• Manage distributor appointments, terminations and territory rebalancing to support the dedicated territory model.
• Collaborate with the RTC Transformation Manager to deliver digitalisation and e‑business initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in distributor or channel development within a large commercial organization.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to monitor, track and steer performance metrics.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, especially with field sales and business unit leaders.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and drive execution.
