DRU-Flow Monitoring Enumerator – Togochale (2 positions)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking two qualified Flow Monitoring Enumerators to support its Data and Research team in Ethiopia. Working under the Programme Manager and senior project staff, you will collect, verify and analyse mobility data at designated observation points.

Key responsibilities

• Identify reliable sources and key informants to gather relevant migration information.
• Conduct DTM/FM assessments at flow‑monitoring points (FMPs) as directed by the DRU Manager.
• Observe, count, screen and survey high‑mobility areas, triangulating data for analysis.
• Ensure data quality by systematically verifying questionnaires after each interview.
• Record GPS coordinates for each observation point.
• Liaise with humanitarian and governmental partners in the field.
• Submit daily activity reports and recommendations to the DTM/FM Team Leader.
• Adhere to IOM’s Data Protection Principles and perform any additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum BA degree (any relevant field).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in field settings.
• Willingness to travel to remote and high‑mobility locations.
