Electrical/Control Systems Engineer

About the role

AndyTec is looking for an experienced Electrical/Control Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain electrical and control solutions for industrial automation projects. The role involves creating control strategies, programming PLCs, and ensuring reliable system performance for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and document electrical and control systems, including schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Program and configure PLCs, HMI/SCADA, and DCS platforms.
• Select and specify sensors, actuators, motors, drives, and other control components.
• Integrate electrical systems with automation equipment and lead on‑site commissioning.
• Test, troubleshoot, and resolve faults in control systems.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for installed solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Control Systems, Automation, or related engineering field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical engineering and control systems design for automation projects.
• Hands‑on experience with PLC programming, HMI/SCADA, and industrial control hardware.

Required skills

• PLC programming (ladder logic, function block, structured text)
• HMI and SCADA configuration
• Familiarity with Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, or Schneider Electric platforms
• Electrical panel design, motor control, and VFD integration
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP, Profibus)
